What a great day. Six of our eight robotics teams qualified for state. The teams played very well in a field of 53 teams. Three teams finished preliminary play in top 15. Five of the teams seeded into the elimination tournament. One team of seniors and juniors, the Housecats, lost in the quarterfinals to the state champs. The sophomore and freshmen team, Real Steele, came from the tenth seed upsetting everyone along the way and finished runner up to the state champs in the finals. The Real Steele team has earned a berth in the Robotics World Championship in late April!
The coaches are very proud of all our teams and especially excited for Real Steele. Coach Bob Lind was also named VEX Robotics Coach of the Year for the state of Kentucky!
