Covington Catholic High School's TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science) teams received Best In State recognition in both the 9th/10th grade and 11th/12th grade divisions, based on scores in a two-part statewide competition.
The 9th/10th grade CovCath team had a top score of 104, compared to an average score of 55 for the other competing teams. The 11th/12th grade "A" team scored 100 versus its competitors who averaged 79. Both will receive a Best In State banner for the school, medals for the team members and a certificate. Colonels swept the top spots in the 11th/12th grade competition, with the CovCath "B" Team placing second.
The Covington Catholic TEAMS teams are coached by teachers Mr. Charles Hartman and Mr. Ryan Lubbers.

Covington Catholic High School is a Blue Ribbon of Excellence award winning college preparatory high school within the Diocese of Covington. It is an all-male school of 604 whose mission is to embrace the Gospel message of Jesus Christ in order to educate students spiritually, academically, physically and socially.
