This morning, Covington Catholic High School announced that eleven students have been accepted to the 2015 Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program. They are:

- Logan Boyle
- Benjamin Darpel
- Adam Flynn
- Austin Flynn
- Samuel Hacker
- Daniel Kleier
- Mitchell MacKnight
- Samuel Romes
- Matthew Rose
- Lucas Timmerman
Students were evaluated in areas of service, extracurricular activities, academics, and writing submissions against top level students from all around Kentucky. They are now invited to participate in the five-week residential program this coming summer.
From GSP: "The Governor's Scholars Program strives to enhance Kentucky's next generation of civic and economic leaders. Established in 1983, the program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience. Students must complete an application and compete with others from across the state. Those selected attend the program free of charge."

This is an outstanding accomplishment reflecting their achievement across the scope of the mission that CovCath embraces – educating young men spiritually, academically, physically and socially. Our entire community congratulates them all," said Covington Catholic Prinicpal Bow Rowe.
